About Me…

Hi! I’m Tessa, founder of SnugAsABugSleep.

  • I have 15 years of childcare experience as a live-in/live-out nanny, night nanny, early intervention service provider and PCA for children and adults with developmental delays & participation limitations.

  • I grew up in Lexington, MA and now live in Boston with my husband, Victor, and our furry best friend, Chandler.

  • I went to the University of Vermont, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Behavioral Change Health Studies.

  • I am passionate about accessibility, and crafting creative solutions to help everyone achieve equitable access and support, whether it be sleep related, or otherwise.

  • I love contact naps, and sleepy baby smiles!

  • I read a lot, and if you’ve read a specific book on sleep training, I’ve probably read it too and would love to chat about it! (Or the Outlander series, on a non-baby related note!)

  • I have personally sleep trained 12 babies and toddlers over the course of my childcare career before transitioning to my current role as a Sleep Consultant — And have hit many of the same roadblocks you may be facing!

  • SnugAsABugSleep was created because I saw a need amongst all the families I worked with across my career — Specialized support for their unique situations.

Your unique story is at the heart of my work. Whether it's about your adorable newborn, spirited toddlers, school-age children, or your young adult child I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Let's make peaceful nights and joyful mornings a reality for your family, because trust me, you've got this!

“I could finally sleep. And this was the real gift, because when you cannot sleep, you cannot get yourself out of the ditch—there’s not a chance.”

— Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love
